Christmas is my favorite time of the year and it was Jim's too! Did you know that Jim had a number of Christmas specials before the classic Muppets Christmas Carol? 

There were/was:

  • Christmas specials with Rowlf the Dog on the "Jimmy Dean Show" from 1963 to 1965
  • The Great Santa Claus Switch in 1970
  • "Emmett Otter's Jug-Band Christmas" in 1977
  • Christmas Eve on Sesame Street in 1978
  • John Denver and The Muppets: A Christmas Together in 1979
  • The Bells of Fraggle Rock in 1984
  • The Christmas Toy in 1986
  • A Muppet Family Christmas in 1987

And of course, The Muppet Christmas Carol in 1992!
